2025/26 Jack Grealish

For those doubting what Ilm saying re Grealish, here's why we have to rest him up and keep him fresh. The figures are a stark reminder of just how reliant we are on him...

....but no doubt this is 'just science' and we should run him into the ground and make him unavailable for long periods???

The likelihood is he can play a few sub appearances in a fortnight's time. He's going to be on a recovery trajectory of between 4 and 7 weeks - from op to playing again.

That makes him a strong possibility for a Christmas appearance or two.

You'd think I was talking about dragging him off the operating table here.
On the money with these comments pal :coffee:

Rest him up for bigger games.

The following game against Sunderland is far more important; if we cant beat Wolves at home without him then wtf are we at as a club?

I have a bad feeling they will be a banana skin for us …

No team goes all season without winning … I’ve got a bad feeling about that fixture

if i was playing devil's advocate, then you could argue that he has not provided a single assist since 30th August 2025 which i believe means he has not provided a single assist in his last 14 games and the two goals he scored this season were very fortunate, the first one he knew nothing about as the ball got cleared off him and bounced into the net and the second one got a massive deflection of the defender

just saying.....
