His wages are completely irrelevant in today’s game. My only concern would be if his wages had an affect on team morale.

If he had a decent striker ahead of him we’d be on 4 more point and he’d have at least another 2 assists.

Away from Pickford he’s the best player we’ve had since the likes of Rodrigues, Lukaku and Baines.


His wages will be looked at as a total, and if it’s £20m all in for this season and his form continues then it’ll be a good deal. Much better than paying £13m (plus wages) for a Niasse or Mcgeady

One dated back to 2022 I believe and said it was around 225k for Man City, only goal.com mentions 300k, so I think that his actual wage is probably 225k. We’re prob covering 150k of that. I can’t see us paying higher than that truth be told.
