Land in Schipol fearing the worst, only to find that we've won, Liverpool have lost, Dundee United have won and Motherwell have lost.

Going to be ****ing hilarious listening to the Pinkies trying to defend Dalglish tonight.

On top of that, I'm now sat in the KLM Crown Lounge, the Heineken is free on tap and they're serving hot and spicy chicken wings.

An American mate showed me a technique recently that changed my whole approach to them. He was Wing King in competition for his state so he knows his stuff.

Grab the end of the bone between finger and thumb on one end and insert wing into mouth. Grip the end of the meat with your front two teeth and pull and twist at the same time.

Try it man. It's ace.

I remember you mentioning those funnily enough, or at least it was some beer last summer. I took these home, plus 8 Fosters and 8 Strongbows (not a great fan of either, but will do for tonight) from Poker last night. Knew there was a good reason why I choose to drive and everyone else went out to the pub. I'll hunt those summer beers down
