Hello everyone. Long time lurker, first time poster. Decided to check the forum out after getting fed up with a certain other forum. Long story, will tell another time.

I come from a long line of Everton fans and am a former ST holder but now struggle to attend matches due to the kids being competitive swimmers.

You'll see me loitering around the place and occasionally posting. I don't take myself too seriously and you shouldn't either.

I was a regular poster on TT, very regular, had been on there years under a different user name and had a very good reputation but got purged due to expressing euroskeptic sentiments. Had a few chats with the moderators about it. About how abuse seemed to be tolerated if it was aimed at "brexiteers". It split the moderator team too. It was clear the user base was falling and the reason all off topic discussion seemed to trend one way was that everyone was being discouraged from posting.

Off topic arguments would spill over into match day threads and so I and a great many others just abandoned the forums. Don't forget, we had plenty of American, Canadian, and other nationalities on the boards who just didn't want to get involved in British political in fighting

I don't know if any returned, I don't know if toxic members are still there. It's been a few years since and I've lurked here for the past 2 just monitoring match day and off topic threads before deciding to sign up.

I don't have any social media accounts, I'm not I it for clout. The only other forums I frequent are tropical fish, stargazing and RC car modifying forums. So as you can see I am quite the stereotypical fascist

thank u for honesty buddy u r safe here we are v tolerant of all opinion including the brexit and mr ancelotti. do u have favorite tropical fish?? mine is the nemo one. please stay away from current affairs forum so u have positive grandoldteam.com experience. who were mods who fired u from tt?? i am really sorry to hear.
