It's not fun anymore is it?

Just wanted to have a say too! Feel free to disagree or whatever but it feels better once you've got it out! Most has probably been said already anyway.

I'm hating supporting Everton at the moment. It's just not fun and taking the stick week in week out is bugging me. It shouldn't be this way. Taking the stick at work AGAIN this week won't be fun as I have no more excuses except to say 'we are just sh*t'.

But it's not only Moyes' fault. It's the whole club.

Things need to change. I keep wondering what other manager could have had such crappy recent results and still be so comfortable in his job. I can only think of Keane at Ipswich and even he is on the brink now. Feels to me that Moyes doesn't have enough pressure from above, which can help and hinder to be fair. I know if i deliver poor results at work my boss is down on me quicker than....Erm...sliced bread or something.

Can you imagine any of the top 5 (not including the kopites) sticking with their manager if they played like us for as long as we have?! I think not. What gives Moyes the divine right to never have it even mentioned (except on Everton forums of course)?

God knows what will happen this season now. I'm 96% certain that the January window will bring no more joy an just annoy me more. I'm sure we're all feeling the frustration too.

In a nutshell, I just want to enjoy loving Everton again, rather than it feeling like I'm married to a massive fat bird who was once thin but had too many bags of monster munch. (the beef ones).

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh feel better now.

As far as Moyes is concerned, the only manager I would consider to replace him would be Ian Holloway.

(I'm not for a manager switch, mind you)

I think the problem is with the players.

Pienaar, no matter how well he is playing is hurting this team with his situation IMO.
Heitenga, makes more cash than most the starting XI and don't contribute [Poor language removed].
Billy, feels cheated I think, and he don't look happy.
Saha, has given up on EFC.
Yakubu, has done something behind the scenes.

"That's Five top players at our club who aren't doing the job. Yet we blame Moyes."

(Not saying Moyes shouldn't shoulder some blame)

I'm a Moyes fan, but something has to give now. Either he has to go or the board has too. Our club is becoming very stale. Worrying times

Another nail in the coffin IMO is looking at the RS. They were an absolute shambles at the start of the season, and still are, and their squad isnt very good...

But they're still effin 4 points infront of us with options to buy in January!!!!

But Moyes gets paid £60k a week to manager these players and get the best out of them.....

I'm not bashing Moyes in this thread by the way. Not sure anyone could do better. More just wondering if he is TOO comfortable in his position.

I think he tries to field the best team week in and week out.. [Poor language removed] just isn't going our way at the moment.

Minus Saha

My shout would be Bert van Marwijk, although I'm more than happy to carry on with Moyes.

Do agree with the rrst of your post.

I haven't enjoyed watching our style of football for years now (about 20), there have been some high points but mostly lows.

even when we finished 4th the matches seemed to go on for hours (we would get a goal and hang on for dear life)

and to depress myself even more, i signed up to have my season ticket for next season aswell.

blind loyalty i think its called.
