Sure we lost the opening game of the season, we haven't even bought new teabags for the tea-lady to make a cuppa for Bill, Moyes still hasn't found the used bog-roll to sign his contract on, but I had a kid!!!!
Friday morning Lisa goes into labor. We go into the hospital and do the whole labor thing. Lisa starts pushing and the OB says to us "Wow, he doesn't have a lot of hair does he?" We replied that the other two were bald when they were born. So a few minutes go by and then she says "Actually, I can't see any hair at all........someone go get the ultrasound machine" They do a quick ultrasound and figure out he is head up (breech) and not coming out the normal way. So off Lisa goes to the OR, put under a general anesthetic and baby is delivered by an emergency Caesarian section.
So we welcome Samuel Wyatt to the world, weighing in at 6lb 8oz at 1426 on the 15th of August, 2008. We were told a we would have to stay a minimum of 72 hours as Lisa went under general. However, she is a trooper and they let us go at just past 48 hours! So we are home now with baby and both are doing well.
And now for pictures:
Some guy who can't get pasties for love nor money and a newborn:
