Isn't anything over 50% considered very bad indeed? Wasnt the 79.7 mill made on the back of fifth in the league, FA cup final run, a few quid from Uefa cup? Realistically, will we top 79.7 this season? What will the percentage be should we gross less?

Hard to know mate, there are many variables, The Europa League has a collective bargaining system in place this year were the prize money was improved - but not steller could make a difference though.

How many times you shown on TV in the Prem and Cup adds alot, placement money to approx 1 mill per place in the League on top of a gaurenteed amount.

We wont know untill the end of the season.

I believe the 49.whatever outlay is squad only, so staffing including Moyes is not factored into that, the club has to pay off certain loans and debts, costs of travel and maintenance, advertising, opening and running the two stores, outlay on schemes pursuing kirkby and whatever next, policing on matchdays, FPF, then minutia like website costs, stock costing, consultancy fees, friendly/pre season tours.

Actually is mate the figure i gave was for the payroll of the entire club.

Intrest payments on the debt was 4 mill this year the total debt stands at 37.9 mill.

Turnover of course, not profit but its possible to work out a ratio of wages to turnover as one is deducted out of the other.

Unless you are pompey and the league steps in to pay those you have made false promises too. But anyway, this is about Everton, where is Bruce, he often has some numbers to crunch and stats to peruse. Get the bat signal going.

Well look at Man U nearly 800 mill in debt and they only made a profit last year due to selling Ronaldo for an obscene 80 mill and the RS are not far behind either.

They may make an oprating profit but no matter which way you turn it Bruce they are making a loss at the end. Glazers are using it like their own little piggy bank.
