Del Piero breaking through for Juventus, what a debut season he had for them, and then continued to get better! Zidane, George Weah, Batistuta, the Maldinis, Rui Costa, Baggio ffs! Back of the net!

Gotta be said Fabio Cannavaro was the best central defender of all time and you could see from the moment he really established himself at Parma and then with the Italian national side, just an awesome footballer, the only shame is the amount of clubs he moved back and forth with. Although he had probably outgrown Juve when he moved to Real Madrid in 06.

Baresi was better.

Rossi, Tasotti, Baresi, Costacurta, Maldini, Rijkaard, Ancellotti, Donadoni, Gullit, Van Basten. Can't remember who else from that team. Massaro?

Aye, the Rossoneri were awesome for a good several years, starting late Eighties and who could forget Capello's maestros(Albertini, Panucci, Maldini, Donadoni, Desailly, Boban, Savićević, Carbone, Lentini and Simone)who smashed Cruyff's Barca' 4-0 in the 94' Final.
