Went to Naples on honeymoon and can't wait to go back. Not a big fan of how racist they are, pretty openly aswell as Kean found out.

Yeh its a lovely country in terms of scenery, food, relaxed lifestyle but its waaaaaaaaaay more right wing and racist than the UK.

Lakes Garda and Como, Rome, Assisi, Florence, Milan, Bergamot, Godalfi Coast I love everywhere I have been in Italy except maybe Naples, although that was in 1980 on a school trip. Must go back soon. Mrs BR is also mad about the place.
I was visiting Rome with a choir in 2008 and after we had sung on a Sunday morning near the end of the football season, I went to the Stadio Olimpico for a Lazio v Livorno - nothing at stake but serious political differences between the supporters.
Anyway BR wandered up to the stadium with no ticket, but wearing a sky blue Dublin GAA jersey. I said "Quanto e billeto?" The gents on the gate pointed out that I should have bought my ticket over 2 km away. I said "lo siento sono Irlandese" and they said "ah. Entra.....benvenito".
