It was 53 years ago today that I met Anne ('er indoors)...

Thanks, thought it was obvious so let it run.
Congratulations on such a wealth of time spent together. I'll avoid the clichés. You have your hobbies, does the boss have hers?
She is an avid reader of novels. Her knowledge of authors is superb.

My 'hobby', as you call it, has a serious side to it, in that in writing about actual events in WW2, it is imperative to get everything factually correct. I've got some books on the Battle of Britain which are just way off. I've been updating and re-writing one that came out in 1995 by myself and another researcher. It will take about 12 months to complete, as so much new stuff by way of info and photos has surfaced since the pre-internet days! So that's what keeps me and Anne off the streets! We did the rock 'n roll clubbing in our youth!!!

Nice guitars, time to jam and practice for then doing gigs, researching books, travel, writing em up and getting published. As well as tours of the war museum. And then carrying a colossal barnacle like Everton on top? If I had to project a word I thought best described you, it'd be 'tenacious'. I've accomplished so very little with my life. I'm actually embarrassed.

Congratulations on 53 years of compromise and care. An all to rare feat nowadays. :pint2:
