Thanks. She'd never been to a game before she met me. Has been a blue ever since I took her to the first game. In the last two seasons, if I posted on her her verbal reaction every time I relayed to her that we were behind, or lost, I would be perma-banned!
Also, when we met, (I was 21, she was 18) she had never been to a night club. I'd been gigging regularly in the Liverpool night clubs sinc ethe age of 18. That changed immediately we met, and she was out to every gig with me. Decades later, when my son was in his late-teens and out nightclubbing himself, he said to Anne one day (in so many words), 'Did you go nightclubbing all the time with my dad?' Of course, was her reply. Jeez, he said, you've done more nightclubbing than I will ever do! Brownie points in excelsis for her from him!
