You were in the Mainstand???

How the **** did you manage to get a ticket for there??? What with the waiting list an all...................

Some kid outside, his arl fella couldnt get there, I gave him less than face as well. Was in the corner overlooking our lot in their end. I had a big Everton Union Jack as well, on a flag pole I nicked off a golf course whilst pished.
The ticket had been in the lads family since 1215 and is in the Magna Carta.

Great memories. Can't believe how many blues were there that day. I know we used to get part of the anfield rd stand, but most of the kemlyn stand seemed to be blue in that clip. As has been mentioned, after that win I really started to believe that the tide was turning. Win today and beat them next week we would be 11 points clear of them. The last time that happened after a derby (lee carsley winner) we went onto to finish 4th.

the fella who described it as an out of body experiemce was not far wrong. It was one of those momnets when you knew something magical was going to happen a split second before the shot was made. When the ball sat up perfectly there was a slpit second intake of breath and then he executed the most sublime volley. The away section curved around quite a way to the side so I was actually on line around the penalty spot and 6 yard box and actually had a side on view so you could see the trajectory of the ball as it dipped under the bar. It was bedlam in that section for fully 5-7 minutes afterwards. I lost contact with my wife for who it was her first Anny derby for about 10 minutes trying to get back to original speck. Part of the terrace exprience which is hard to replicate nowadays. That tam grew up that day. Beat Bratislava away in mid week then smashed MU 5-0 at GP the following Saturday and I think knocked them out the league cup at OT the following midweek!!!! What a team what an era.!

Sharpy was great when he did things instinctively, the other goal that springs to mind was against Spurs a couple of years earlier, when he had time such as in one on ones with the keeper he was goosed usually!!!he was definitely a scorer of great goals Sharpy!!

spot on. That spurs one had people saying to eachother did we really just see that? against Ray clemence in goal for spurs too haha. It's been on nostaglia TV channels recently too but never had that much publicity. One of his first goals for us I think.

against a backdrop of Rockets from the away end.

Sends shivers down the spine. Unfortunately I wasn't there in the flesh but listened on the radio and saw MOTD.

I'll settle for the scrappiest goal in history and a 1-0 win next week.
