I was on the McKop that day,they went mad and typically couldn't take it after we beat them that day,
as we hadn't rolled over for our seemingly customary 3-1 defeat,the "friendly" derby in those days,yeah right, it was as long as they got the result!!!

I was 18,with my EFC bobble hat de rigeur(the bobble mysteriously vanished I think when bedlam took over after the goal!!)!!stood on that detestable terrace with about 5000 other blues and it remains one of the best days of my Everton supporting life,Sharpy,I still love you mate!!great,great day!!

That will never leave you. Ace. Also had a bobble hat, half Everton half Celtic but I wasn't on the kop that day and its doubtful I'll top that feeling.
