Player Valuation: £50m
but it was reached today.

if the first team was so tired and lethargic, and the bench had to have three defenders on, then the reserves/youth should have been fielded to lose so the first team could rest appropriately.

there goes our game in hand, now we have to get a little more than something from arsenal away of chelsea at home as well as a win at the vermins and a home thrashing of villa.

why do we make it so difficult on ourselves? we didnt turn up at fiorentina, and we didnt turn up today.

why push for a whole season only to throw in the towel in the final hundred meters?

beggars belief.

Suits, there were two teams out there today, one fighting for its life with a home crowd behind it who managed a very good draw at Blackburn last time out and us who were [Poor language removed]. I never expected us to fade as badly as we did but I can live with it and still get behind my team I only wish others could

Fulham deserved their win mate dissapointing and all as it was. The squad was stretched to much this week and on a heavey pitch it was just to much for us.

We are at the buissness end of the season now which always throws up unexpected results, wait and see we will probably beat Chelsea and arsnal as well as those known as the [Poor language removed]!

A good week R&R will do the lads no harm oming to the last stretch, a little perspective is what we need to have, thats our firt loss of the year and only the third goal conceaded in the leauge!

We will push all the way.

Look at us after the robbery against the [Poor language removed]. And after the collapse against Arsenal. And after the firt leg against Fiorontina.

3 games that knocked us down but we bounced back better than before. If we surrender at home to West Ham next week and then in the derby fair enough we have no one to blame but ourselves and deserve no more than 5th place.

But this is out best team in years and they wont stay down. A combination of tiredness both mental and physical cost us today.

I have faith we will bounce back from this. Needless to say we will have the last laugh.

derby, birmingham, and the toonites are fighting for survival.

for one reason and one reason only, they are utter pants.

if the players were tired, then the reserves should have gone out and lost instead of tiring the first teamers further.

todays performance AND result was a knife in the belly of our aspirations.

The main problem was for the 1st times this season, we didnt have a real option on the bench if it did go wrong which it did. The squad has been decimated

im sorry but its that time of year people were the bottom sides decide to switch on and win games!!!

ffs we were the best at it for about 15 years!!!

we can still do this! we were [Poor language removed] but theres [Poor language removed] loads of games left!!

COYB!!

I agree monts. Yes, we were pretty awful today, but it's not like there wasn't a reason behind it.

I'd have been pretty pissed off with this result if we hadn't played midweek. Or if AJ hadn't got injured early on. But, both happened and we lost.

Sorry to say in this day and age, and the amount of money these players are on, with fewer league games, for me its too easy to shrug it of as fatigue/tiredness call it what you will..we had ample opportunity wednesday to win the match in 90 mins we didnt...we had to go through hell finally to be punished when the better side didnt qualify. I'd imagine if we had of won that match, i doubt they'd have been so shocking today. Upset or call it what you will for being dumped out of the uefa cup i'll grant you that, but I am simply not buying the fatigue part of it.

And yes i do agree that if they where in such a dire mess, surely moyse would have known/seen this, and opted to go with some of the youngsters (maybe this is something else he needs to learn fast)..being beaten then I could take..because its a very visual queue to them being over exerted..but he didnt and threw on another defender to go for a draw, with 3 players outfield expected to conjure something up for a win.

Its not the loosing thats the issue here, its the way they went about it, or didnt go about anything that is.

Time to forgive and forget and move on, and hope we get another bite at the cherry..but i dont hold much hope against arsenal away or chelsea..too boogey sides if ever I saw any...then there is the little tete with the [Poor language removed] to consider..so in everything, regardless of what today might have brought, we still have 3 very mentally challenging matches to overcome anyways...so in hindsight after be so pissed off with the way we didnt perform...cant see the trees for the forest.

Monty you are right m8, this is the very best side we have had in years and years a million miles away from the dross of walter smith et al...lets hope we can do the unthinkable and win those 3 matches, starting with the hammers next week.

tired my arse, theyre paid thousands of pounds to keep fit, they should be fit enough to play 2 games a week for a few months.

squad stretched my arse, the team out there should be beating fulham comfortably

utter [Poor language removed]...

I hope they used a lubricant

since fulham came back up the home team has won all the league encounters between us, i hoped it might be different today, but didn't expect it to be, so the result came as no surprise.
