It has started , but as usual the media are missing the point.

Talking to a rancid today. He knew nothing about Moshiri and looked worried when I explained the ambition backed by cash we now have. He was already non too happy with the new manager

Reactions like that make it far to tempting to rub Rancid's noses in it.................but what the hell

The posts from ITK people that there is more ambition/support/money available than even the most optimistic of fans are making out seems about spot on. How that's the case I'm not sure. Moshiri runs his personal affairs how he is running Everton, in a professional, dignified and ultimately quite guarded way. It could well be the estimate of 1.9 billion personal fortune (already acknowledged to be very cautious and low) as way out. It could be that others are coming on board or may be financing things behind closed doors or that someone like Usmanov may be poised to move. However it's very clear there is a lot more to it than meets the eye.
Top post ;)

Your last paragraph sums the current mood for most perfectly. We have honest ITKs such as @The Esk telling us to get very very very excited. Most of us can't exactly understand how Mr Moshiri alone is going to fund everything, and feel there must be others involved.

But it's this unknown that is super!

We have no idea if it will be successful lid. Firing a manager when in 11th and hiring Koeman isn't real big news.

When we start to win games and put any pressure on the top four places then that's when the media pay you attention. But I'd rather we were under the radar and to get near those four places where we are at the moment will be very difficult.

Newcastle spent ridiculous money last season and got relegated for example.
Yes, but they didn't get the right man in until it was too late.

This, chico. Plucky little, just play the role and smile.

There's time enough for the sleeping giant awakes narrative. Let them be the last to realize it, if and when it happens. Boss new stadium on the water though. Nice.

[Redacted] the media. They're slime. Trump said so.
Not sure if that was tongue-in-cheek or not but please don't bring that ar*ehole into the room

Maybe, but people are getting way to carried away on the back a few rumours, some of those getting carried away may well be kids, so thats understandable, but come on the rest of you rein it in a bit, we may well be very rich now but......

As has been pointed out, Moshiri isnt that rich
We do have a history as a club of over hyping things to sell tickets
There has been a contradictory info from the 'ITK's'

If this was another set fans going so nuts about being mega-rich on the basis of the current evidence we would all be taking the piss out of them. Calm down and stop making us look silly.

Miserable sod :)

LOL. Forget that.... The media are too busy taking the p1$$.

The Mirror posted an article which actually started as "Merseyside GIANTS Liverpool, and Merseyside minnows Everton"

It's been took off already.

Too many kopites in the media, THAT is the problem.

Edit (They're actually put it back up, this time Merseyside GIANTS isn't in capital letters when referring to Liverpool).
"The downside is he will have to start with the CURRENT squad... " Yep, the same (probably stronger) squad that finished 5th under a manager who couldn't keep his previous club in the Premier League. Some of these tabloid hacks are a joke

Yet it's not been announced by the club.

It's not negativity, it's reality.

Everyone is getting far too carried away.
There is a reason it's not been announced. There are also many many reasons to get carried away.

Stop griping and enjoy the fallout as we retake our seat at the very top table.

NSNO now means what it says again.
Embrace it.

This is the problem with the Internet generation. Everyone is so desperate to be ahead of the curve so they can brag about it on social media they'll wet their knickers over a few rumours from forum celebrities.

I'll wait to see some action before I start to get excited thank you.
