Top Balcony season ticket holder but living down south so plenty of time on the train to ponder results and performances.

There are plenty of folk who come even further than me and they must be well hacked off with the fixture shuffling and late Sunday games that Sky conjure up last minute. Pre-booked travel with no refunds and work the next morning etc etc.

Anyway, a deep breath and a belief we can slowly turn the ship round this season. Top half finish this year ?

PS:
Don't see us getting a top-half finish, think it will be 'more of the same' next season... well, maybe not as bad as our last two seasons.

Top half maybe a stretch, but I genuinely don't see us being in any real danger. If I can relax completely from early April onwards I'll be quite pleased with progress.

That's how far we've fallen.

Welcome to GOT mate. It always amazes me that people are prepared to basically right off a full day or more to attend the home games. Kudos to you and the many others who do so. ;)
It's only about 45 Minutes each way for me but (as you say) in recent seasons it can seem like one hell of a long day.
What's your story? Are you originally from around here, or perhaps Evertonian parents?
P.S. It's refreshing to see a bit of optimism.

Enjoy the first lady of football, she's our home for another 12 months, then the dream is over. BMD is a welcome upgrade, a forced change of sorts, but it'll feel different because it'll be different. Cusp of a new era, we've work to do as a support.

Welcome aboard mate. After bagging a season ticket when I moved back up north in 2016, then back in the south west due to/since covid, I was irritated by the fixture changes before, I'm 'kin livid now.
