Is this Season a Flip to the Norm?

Is this season going to be a reverse to how we usually go?

Traditionally we get boss in the second half of the season. Not looking so this season.

But yet we started really well.

Will we improve do you think?

I think we'll do just fine after we first drop to 8th place in the table.

It does look a bit that way. Obviously we have to wait and see but the major turning point last season was January. This season, January looks to have been majorly important as well, to our detriment. If we finish 7th again, it'll be a mirror image.

Pressure.

We always play boss second half of the season because there's no pressure and now it's the other way round we're bottling it.

We always seem to drop when we don't do anything in the transfer window. I think Moyes gets really annoyed and it can have an impact on the team.

Yep, we'll improve and finish fifth or sixth. When we start playing teams who have nothing much to play for, we'll murder 'em. It's the Everton way.

Was actually thinking the same thing. In all seriousness though, the team look absolutely knackered. By 60 minutes there was no run or fight left in the team. Big, big problem especially considering we've got a keen Oldham very soon.

the way i see it, we dont buy anyone before the August window closes and we dont get a boost from that, until we get to January. then we get a few new faces in and we get the boost. and we finish well

this season we got our players early so we had the boost we needed.
January was a big disappointment before the window closed. No much need players = no boost.

we will finish 6th or 7th this season. 6th if Liverpool dont improve. 7th if they do.

worse thing is we could finish 8th if Swansea finish well.

is probably the right answer. hopefully not, but the team is definitely lacking the confidence it had at the start of the season. if only there was a window where we can bring in a couple of new players, lift the mood in the camp etc

For a couple of years I've worried that the second half season revival won't happen.

Luckily it looks like this one after a good start. Imagine if it had happened in a different season.
