Is that kiss goodbye to Moyes then? Who would you want if so?

For me, and ive said it plenty of times, under the current ownership i really am scared for the day David Moyes leaves Everton FC.

The point is they weren't untested kids. Most of them have played CL, and won trophies and played internationally and should have enough to beat Leeds.

So you can blame the players for that dismal display then. Unless Moyes asked them to go out and get beat - which i doubt he did tbh.
I remember under Walter Smith losing 3-0 to Tranmere and 3-0 to Boro and that was the F.A cup. Two of the worst displays ever. And Smith has won countless trophies. There is no 'magic formula' that managers have to win things.

'Being in charge of Rangers or Celtic' is pretty close, tbh.

doom and gloooooooom

what the hell?

We had an 8m player break down because of a medical and an expensive striker break down because of time/Seville. We haven't sold our best players...so what is the issue? January market is generally slow, and managers say they dont really like doing business then.

Nice to see a sensible post rise above the knee-jerkers.

That's a pretty stupid comment. The man goes the Doncaster on wet November Tuesdays to size up bargain centre halves. Seriously, if I was him and I was reading some of the comments on this thread I'd say "You know what, [Poor language removed] it - I actually wasn't going but now I am. [Poor language removed] the lot of yers."

I thought it was a stupid comment too. Does he look like he doesn't care?

Some of us were rather keen to finish top 4 this season, just thought an extra player or two might be vital for that. Sorry if that's a bit of a knee jerk for you.

The same people who were getting the bleach out when we were 1-3 down against Villa with half an hour left? It wasn't being a player short then that was the problem, it was having the wrong player playing, and that wasn't the fault of the chairman. It's more important that the likes of Newcastle have strengthened than we haven't. Look what happened to Chelsea.

If Spurs lose Bale (who I hate with a vengeance) they'll struggle. Chelsea are slipping and being reeled in. We have all our competitors for 4th to play and what we have above all of them is the ability to not lose, and I expect that we will again put the cat among the pigeons at Old Trafford.

The only games that worry me against the contenders are at Arsenal and the RS and still say it will be down to the game at Chelsea. I suspect David Moyes secretly thinks the same.
