Because if he is, how do we Everton supporters feel about him being dragged through the mud recently for 'industrial' tax evasion? And what is the general feeling towards being associated with such a person? I mention this in light of the many press stories surrounding him and the 'knife to the balls' he has received (Metaphorically) on Question time tonight.

If I don't pay my taxes, it doesn't reflect negatively on Everton just because I happen to be a public Everton supporter who invests in them (I buy shirts, merchandise etc, therefore on a smaller scale I am in the same boat)

Davek Nailed it - Earl and his holding company are a front for Green - He will decide if we are for sale and he will decide when and who we are sold too - Kenwright is simply a controlled mouthpiece, A Stooge - and that's what pisses people off about him. He keeps sayin we are up for sale 24x7 when in reality he knows as much as the rest of us about how and when we will be sold

The whole point of having the proxy would be to stop HMRC charging Green additional taxes.

Earl wouldn't as he's not a UK resident for more than 40 days a year.

It could be a "gentleman's agreement" between them over who is the share holder on the accounts.


So providing proof could be nigh on impossible. But the fact Green has so much influence says it all.
