Is johnny off?

He certainly owes nothing to Everton in a personal sense, ie he's not a fan like us, so if there's a better job offer coming in he's more than likely to take. That's not a slant on him, it's just work isn't it?

Just my take on it mate, i think hes a passionate player and gives his all when he plays, but i dont think Everton have gotten under his skin say like it has for Donavon and one or two others. I think he would have a pretty low threshold for having his head turned.

Yeah, it does seem like there's a switch in his head. It's currently on 'Love Everton' but it could shift to 'Love Bayern, etc' if the going got tough.

our best CH by a mile, has more influence on overall play than any other CH, played with 3 diferent partners in a month, one a youth player, one a crap full back, he lead them all brilliantly, has been messed about by ginger balls from day one and has in the main got on with it without nearly as much fuss as people make out. Should be one of the first names on the team sheet.

I realise there is a lot of love for Johnny over the last year , I'm pretty confident that the right bid (£8m ish) would get you the player but given his wages and poor euros I don't there is significant interest in him at that price .

can't afford to lose John Heitinga a versatile and consistent performer with both european and international experience, also our player of the year, I would say if he was to leave it would take a bid in the region of £12-15m based on the price tags slapped on other players of a similar vintage.

I could live with that as long as Moyes gets all the money and not part of the money from a transfer.

Add another player or two if we are lucky.

he wouldnt replace him with a footballing CH though, it would be hoofball from the oaf twins, with Duffy not getting a look in either, the effect jonny had on our all round play last year has been massively underplayed
