Is it ON again?

Wouldn't rule out Chelsea either - if we beat Southampton and they lose to Liverpool, we'll be 3 points behind them with 2 games left. If they reach the CL Final, they may have an eye on that. They play Norwich at home and Cardiff away in their last 2 league games.

Good point. In a way I think it suits us to have tough games because it keeps our performance level high.

It's looking like the full squad will be needed for the remaining games too. It would be good to get Jags, Pienaar and Traore back for the final push.

I think it is too late. Arsenal will not loose any points except perhaps against West Brom. We on the other hand will do well to beat Saints and City.

We've done fantastic to find ourselves 11 off the top, 6 off 2nd, 2 off 3rd and 1 off 4th. It's actually fantastic when you put it in those terms. Look at it this way:
2012-3: 1st 26pts off, 2nd 15pts off, 3rd 12pts off, 4th 10pts off (73pts)
2011-2: 1st 33pts off, 2nd 33pts off, 3rd 14pts off, 4th 13pts off (69pts)
2010-1: 1st 26pts off, 2nd 17pts off, 3rd 17pts off, 4th 14pts off (68pts)

So 2 & 3 years ago we'd already be qualified. Last year we'd have only needed 4pts from our last 3.

I would not say killed, just wounded. We are not dead until it is impossible to get 4th.

if Arsenal had a tougher 3 games left I'd agree, but i don't see them dropping any more points...

the palace game was huge, because winning it would have meant we only needed a draw against city....i was pretty confident about the united game, and think we'll beat Southampton & hull....but even if we beat man City now (which we definitely can do), i think it might all be for nothing.....Newcastle, west brom & Norwich, can we really expect anything from them?, don't think so....
