The Palace game was the killer for me. We have to beat Man City now to stand any chance, and even with their recent poor performances that is a massive, massive ask.

If we beat City, then we can talk about it being on or not IMO, not before.

I completely understand the desire to temper expectations... we are Evertonians, after all. Arsenal demonstrably have the advantage. But the margins are fine, and we are good enough to do this.

Pleased with the way norwich battled today given their **** record vs RS, as long as it comes to the last day and they are not relegated, never know what they could do against arsenal, they won at etihad last day last season, West brom picking up some slight form atm and CP came and beat us as they picked up form. Newcastle are that poor they have to start showing some fight, no games are 'easy' at this stage like CP proved to us, I still think it's on, we have to believe.

Look arsenal clearly favorites going into the game but before palace people were saying things like 'how many we gonna get today then' and stuff like that albeit newcastle are at the other end of the form table to palace but no team keeps on loosing in prem, it has to stop somewhere, newcastle were decent tbf against swansea
