Is it my self esteem?

So then. Why are you with her?
think the thread tells you ashtonian mate, he knows deep down its not right but lacks the confidence to do anything about it, sounds like he is in a relationship but is lonely as well needs a bit of attention to feel wanted.
Not one for loose morality but he needs to get out and look for somebody more suitable.
she is knackered but keeps two dogs sounds a right div to me, bet he ends up dog/kid minding while she goes on holiday if this carries on, it abuse plain and simple taken advantage of the lad.

It just strikes me overall as a bit of a mad thread, which in my experience is saying something!

To know genuinely you don't or shouldn't want to be with someone and then try and justify it is a little, well odd. From an amateur psychoanalysis here he dislikes her, far more than he is willing to admit and dislikes his life with her. But chooses not to do anything about it for all the little things he takes as positive.

I wouod argue it isn't self esteem, it's courage. He is terrified to do anything about it scared to be on his own and scared to even tell her he doesn't want to be with her. It instead self esteem he struggles with its having any sort of courage to do anything in fear of any retaliation he would get in response
