I had to laugh at this bit from Moyes:

It;s day like these that Moyes and the Everton Press Office have a lot to answer for. Yes, he gets asked very loaded questions by very , in the words of Sir Matt of Damon "Snide like" journalists. But to make statements and promises about certain players is always going to end in tears. Everton do have an obligation to keep their fans 'in the loop' as it were, about certain aspects of running the club, but to link us with the likes of Adebayor is ludicrous. For one, the man is a Prima donna who flounces round like some sort of Hollywood Diva and would no doubt treat a loan deal to us with utter contempt and reflect it such in his play and interest.

The only time I'm ever convinced a player has signed for us is when they pose for that stage managed photo op of the player and manager grinning uncomfortably holding a scarf aloft- upside down and posing in the numberless home shirt that has been quickly snatched out of the gift shop.

We've been linked too many times with players that have never paid off , whether that's the club or mere paper speculation that is allowing that to appear in print, is anyone's guess. But we need to learn from our mistakes or we are going to become even more of a laughing stick than we are already are now :(

Who, from the Club have said we're looking to sign Adebayor?

Its your random assertions I find 'ludicrous'.
 
How about a moratorium on sl@gging the club off.

Ok so we aren't setting the premier league on fire and Moyes is having a tough year.

But the relentless attacks on the club recently are just too much.
