That's rubbish. There wasn't anything close to one million 'flocking to support the regime on the streets', never mind millions. And there were widespread outbreaks of fighting between supporters of the opposition and supporters of Ahmedinejad. Dont know where you pulled that from.

Widely reported across the news media that hundreds of thousands were supporting Revolution Day in Tehran alone. Iran has 5 other major cities over 1M in population. Makes sense that all told the overall figure would be in excess of a million. Iran claim 'tens of millions'; the western news agencies say 'hundreds of thousands'. Let's split the difference.

In any case, it was a major show of strength against the would be Green Revolutionaries. They have a legitimate grievance. But they're being used as pawns by Western governments - and now they've been seen by those same governments as a largely twitter/youtube hyped irrelevancy they'll be dropped by them. In my opinion, the West will now push on beyond their previous tactic to destroy the Iranian theocracy from within and directly confront them.

Does that make it true? Because the same kind of media censuring goes on in Iran, maybe not to the extent in North Korea, but it serves a good indication. If all you know is anti-west, then you will be anti-west.
