iPod's and iPhone's

I had an iphone but dropped it and it broke. Got an ipod nano and its ace. As i broke my iphone i need a new smartphone and was thinking about the Blackberry. What do people think about it? Would get another iphone but the contracts are much more expensive and i never used the ipod bit of it as i have an ipod. Based on contract cost and useage, not sure i can justify a new iphone.

So question i pose is, Should i get a Blackberry or a different smartphone?

I'm a huge blackberry fan. As I said, you can't beat their battery life, security, just in general it always works. This is my next phone...combines touch screen with the physical keyboard (which is crucial for me). I do a lot of texting and email on my phone and touch screen keyboard is just not as user friendly as the qwerty keyboard. But with the new touchscreen, it's a lot better for internet and browsing. BBIM is ace as well, if you have other friends/co-workers who have BB's.

It is mate. Click here ( not dogs mating, honest )

Maybe in the UK, but over here you will be able to buy it as a wifi only tablet or on Sprint with a dataplan. No requirement to own a BB phone at all.

*Edit* I see you are talking about getting your Blackberry email/calendar. Well, if it is via an Enterprise server, duh, of course you will have to tether until Corporate starts providing specific enterprise stuff for the Playbook.

*edit 2* This is just release as well. I am sure that in the near future more apps will become available, right now the dev team is getting the thing ready for release. Either they have done studies that show most initial owners will be current BB users who can bluetooth tether or they really dont care :P

I've used many BB, they're crap. I know they have their devotees, but I just don't get it. I have one for work, and it' pants

I'd take a windows phone or an iPhone over a BB any day of the week

Any idea's on how de-authorise computers with your itunes account?

You are able to authorise up to 5 computers, somehow I've done that now, but I only own 2 of them still. I've possibly added my account on a friends computer or something once before when giving them some stuff, d'oh

Anyone know?

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Choose Store > Deauthorize Computer (In earlier versions of iTunes, access this option from the Advanced menu).
  3. Select "Deauthorize Computer for Apple Account" and enter your Apple ID and password.

Thanks Bryan

Can I de-authorise the computers I either don't have any more, or a friend may have etc?
