Well, with this new Bold, the touch screen and the fact they put a SMALLER battery in it means it won't go a full work day on a full charge, with me not doing anything. Lord help me if I make some calls or try to use data or Wifi on the fecker. *I am a seasoned smartphone user and never leave unnecessary apps running in the background.

Me too. Not a really new one mind. I'm not that into phones, but I wanted a Blackberry because it was just really functional. The keypad is a proper QWERTY keyboard so I can type at a pace that's bearable. iPhone touchscreens do my head in for typing.

This is exactly how I feel...plus I'm addicted to brick breaker.

Disappointing...was pretty interested in the new Bold...I have the last iteration....would just like a modern touch screen browser without sacrificing the the things that make a BB what it is.

Its a cracking phone, really is, just not for me. I like to customise my UI and all that and find apple restrictive on this. Its a bit generic.

I've been forced to use a Blackberry bold 9000 since i sold my iPhone

You can't connect to a wireless router unless you have a BIS account.

You can't pin apps to the home screen

It uses it's own APN.

I would never, in a million years pay for a blackberry. I'd rather own a nokia, or android if forced.

I have the Samsung Galaxy s2 , this is the phone the iphone 4s was trying sooo hard to beat. I cant say enough good things about it.
Its my 3rd android phone and is all things to all men full stop. Angry Birds has never looked so good

Daughter wants an iphone (ffs) and I've just been reading about Black Friday deals in the U.S. saying that they hear that due to excess stock of 4s (code for want rid asap so more buy the 5) it will be reduced by $100 to £199, which is £120 ish today.

Questions are
how much import duty would be paid ?
would it work here if unlocked (it'd be sim free) ?
Are they really that price over there ?
