I believe the Man Utd debt repayments equate to around about £65m per year. Their takeover has turned the most profitable football club in the world into a financial basket case. I've long admired United for the way they turned themselves from a club no better than ourselves into a financial behemoth so in a professional sense it is sad that they have had all that work undone in such double quick time by rubbish owners.

But then I made some money out of selling my shares to them so shouldn't grumble really

In a few seasons United could back out of collective bargaining over the tv money and sell their own games to a media partner...and take over the world from the US and China!

As long as there's a lucrative market for football United will come out smelling of roses.

As for United, the RS are in the same boat overloaded with debt hence Bentiez looking at loan deals and the transfer basement.

I honestly believe that the Galziers have more nous about them than the semi-partnership running RS, and money come to that
