Good on you Adam for doing it, it takes guts that. My opinion of Carragher however is not changing, I can't bare how so many people still think he's an Evertonian at heart. He's not, watch that video of him running around the Sky studios when Mane scored and then come back to me with that. Or how obviously made up he was at that 4-0 at Anfield last year. He loves it when we fall short or get embarrassed, it makes him and all other kopites feel better about their own woes with their team.

He's just as bad as the rest of them who seem to have every punditry job in this country. Only difference is he's clearly more intelligent as a human and so is able to stop his bias reaching the surface when he's working (most of the time). He can come out with some decent opinions on neutral teams/games and also crack the odd funny joke but fact is he's still a raging kopite and a bad one at that. And I despise those types of people.

I once saw Carragher playing for the Reds in a Lancashire League game against us at Bellefield when he was a youth player. The ball went out for a thrown in and an old dapper bloke watching said what lots of watchers do, "our ball". The linesman gave the throw to Everton and I can't repeat what Carragher said the the old fella. There was real hate in his face. Always sticks with me that image and reflects that winning football matches really mattered to him, a trait many who break into the top flight have.

What I don't understand is he said he joined Liverpool at 16 and he was still an Everton fan. Where was he before that? He didn't jump ship from Everton at 16 did he?

He was already at their academy. I suppose he means signed professional forms. It was a great interview but enjoyed listening to him talk of his conversion, seemed quite honest. Would have been nice to hear him finish what he was saying about the 1998 game against Coventry.

In many ways you can see why his dad and the club told him to wind his neck in when he was pointing out the Everton score to his dad when he was warming up on the side of the pitch. In the end he couldn't continue to live the double life indefinitely.

I love Everton. I really really do. But the idea of getting all froth mouthed about somebody 'belittling' us or whatever is just weird behaviour once you get past 14.

Correct. He also firmly placed the blame onto Everton in his book for the increasing hostility between the two sets of fans.

Honestly don't get why so many blues get all giddy when EFC fan-players or ex players mention us. It's pathetic. I wouldn't feed the cart, nevermind interview him.

Any celebs out there currently needing some publicity or attention should just come out and declare themselves Massive blues. Watch half of GOT and twitter immediately drop to their knees.
