So, I've been following & supporting Everton for about a year now - and I feel like the one area of fandom that I'm totally oblivious to (besides club history) is the chants.

I can't go down to Goodison and learn them in the proper environment, but I feel like it's my duty to at least have a basic knowledge of them.

Any other international fans feels the same? Does someone want to provide some essentials, or has there been a collection of Everton chants/songs released?

Try these for size, should find something to be getting on with.

Have a look on youtube mate. The bluekipper link is good for words for songs you've heard but can't quite work out/remember the words to but a load of them are never heard anywhere near the match. Watch some youtube clips & you'll get a better idea of what people actually sing

Everton don't want fans to sing at the match. For years fans have asked the club to provide the measures needed for singing but the club has refused. We've even had fans being kicked for starting off songs and making noise in the Gwladys St.

What a complete load of [Poor language removed], go and peddle your lies elsewhere.

If you think some of our chants are bad there is nothing as bad as singing OLE OLE in support of the irish national team.

So what have Everton ever done to aid the singing?

What do you want the club to do? Create a "singing section" where all the big singers go? Print off some songsheets? Play "Chelsea Dagger" every time a goal goes in? Give some tosser a megaphone or horn to "inspire the fans"?

All of that is smalltime so the club just leaves the fans to create the noise, that's exactly the way it should be, it's hardly stopping the fans from creating an atmoshpere is it?

He has an agenda, he cried about the Kirkby plans and hes seen his arse cos the Club wont do a frigging choir section in the ground. IT AINT A CHURCH.

The GSE has been in fine voice the last 2 games, hopefully we can take that forward from now on.

So kicking fans out for starting off songs and making a noise isn't stopping it? Continuing to sell tickets on the last row of the Gwladys St isn't stopping it either? Designing the last ground to prevent it too isn't them trying to stop it then?

Man United built an entire tier for singers, Liverpool have a section dedicated to them, as do many other clubs, Everton can't even be bothered spending a couple of grand on the acoutics on the Gwladys Street!

Have you not noticed the lack of songs and singing at Goodison?Have you not noticed the number of fans unhappy with this? Yet what have Everton done about this?
