ffs, its a quote, get over it. we all know the state club is in. bereft of finance,leadership and investment, moyes can't afford to walk, despite being touted as a good manager, the lack of silverware is holding him back from the really top jobs he wants. and bill and the other sad sacks on the board, well while the supporters of this club sit on their collective ar###es,splling their bile on the internet. they can pretty much do as they want, a divided opposition is little opposition .until we are relegated,or something close, people will still say we're doing ok. thats the saddening part, the lack of ambition,not just from the board,but from the supporters.

Nothing sinister in what Irvine is saying, it's 'out's before in's', we know this. If you have to sell first, you have to wait for offers and then accept or not accept. This being the case, of course Davey doesn't know what he has to spend, but he has to be ready, therefore, he must have players of various values scouted so that he can respond. Makes sense to me.
I'm pretty sure that Irvine was just commenting and not going all Day Vinci code on our arses. Its just that as blues were sometimes a very angry and paranoid bunch of lids.
