Having an insurance bet against the Blues...
Have you? Would you ever?
Unforgivable curse OR understandable in the current climate?
 



No. Never. Let me get this right......I am being asked..... Would I ever in my lifetime, put a bet on Liverpool (or any other team) to beat us because I’d win money if they did? And that’s a genuine question? Each to their own I reckon and everyone is entitled to answer as they see fit.

My heart rules my head here and my head says the same as my heart. And it’s still the same answer. I couldn’t even contemplate the idea I’d ever want us to lose - regardless of the circumstances and who would benefit if we didn’t.

The day I want Everton to lose a game...any game....is the day I’ve officially confirmed in my own head I’m no longer an Evertonian.

Think you have slightly over reacted there, albeit it is an emotive question, no Everton supporter wants the team to lose, it is just if they do least you will have a little yang to go with the yin.

I have never done it but sometimes I wish I did! In fact I really should start because with my luck Everton would start romping games, I would be poorer but emotionally better off.

There's so much football and betting options out there that it's quite easy to have a bet without including Everton at all, that's what I like to do, couldn't bring myself to back against us.

Quite a few on here have admitted to backing the rs to 'soften the blow', when they win, wrong uns the lot of them.
