I was pleased with that starting lineup, it must be said. Good to see Coleman getting a chance.

But the subs, oh the subs.

For starters... Osman... on the left?

So it finished with Pienaar out of position, Osman badly out of position and then Bily (getting a massive 2 minutes) also out of position. The left player in attacking mid, the attacking mid/left player on the right, and the CENTRAL midfielder on the left.

I'm trying to understand it, but I can't. Can anyone help me? Is Osman actually the new Kevin Sheedy, and I've just not realised? Did Bily cost 10 rubles, not £10 million?

If 'The Hill' were getting an aknowledgement, I'd have put money on it being "When the ship goes down" considering the atmosphere of late.

Osman did ok when he came on, and we created a few chances. The Bily sub was the strangest though, whats the point giving him 3 minutes?

Pienaar did well in the attacking role. Well, rather he made space for Yakubu. That bit worked though.

What didn't work was Osman. Didn't touch the bloody ball, and got mugged a few times -- at least once in our own half. Maybe you missed the little fella, but I didn't. Had a terrible 20 minutes or whatever it was.

So why not put Bily there? If you're going to push Pienaar up, why not put the player who's got "left winger" under his name on wikipedia? Rather than the CENTRAL midfielder, who's right footed, and about as useful out wide as he is in goal.

Moyes at the moment... I can't fathom it.

But on the positive side, the Yak showed some glimmers. A bit of game time, and well, the feed the Yak chants may ring out, and ring true, once again. Coleman looked ballsy. With him in the side, we've got a grand total of 2 testicles. Better than none though.
