Infractions

Had a bit of a 'mare on here last night.

Dissed by the site owener for a Match Preview.

Then infracted for a Off Topic Holtby post.

Don't worry though, i'm not annoyed by it, or feel it's unjust. If I was the site owner i'd get annoyed with the crap that goes on too. It's a fair cop.

However, I do have a question about infractions.

How long do they stay on your record? I've had 2 in the last 2 months after years without anything and am keen to get a clean record back.

I don't feel like i've been doing anything different to what I used to do mind you.

Click 'settings' and it should show your reps and infractions. While infractions do expire, you'll be able to view them afterwards.

For example:

Expires 09-09-2012 04:32 AM: Lewis Holtby

they've gone tough with infractions - my latest is 20 points!! FFS!! I usually get a 10

It was silly, I were on the bus this morning to work and then I remembered I had had a dream about getting an infraction last night. Then later on while browsing the site, I noticed I indeed had got infracted.

I think a lot of the regular/long-term posters have been complaining about the amount of Twitter jarg on the Everton forum, so now the moderators are just doing what you all asked. It's been a pretty awful place over the last couple of months, but some of the posting by long-termers has been pretty dire too.

Seems a lot of people got carded in that thread that you did as well Ijjy.

They should close the Everton forum over the transfer window, except for threads started by moderators....

Warning System - Infractions
60 points = Suspended For 7 Days.
80 points = Suspended For 14 Days.
100 points = Perm Banned.

The most common infractions are ;
Inappropriate Language: 10 points
General Behaviour Warning: 20 points
Off Topic: 20 points
Minor Spamming: 20 points
Posting Abusive/Offensive Material: 60 points
Spammed Advertisements: 100 points

10 and 20 point infractions expire after 30 days, the rest after 45 days.

The lower value infractions can be issued as a warning (0 points) at the discretion of the staff member.
