'Incident' in London

mental health was a significant factor

This line is doing the rounds in the media and I hate it more than sensationalist assumptions of terrorism. There'll end up being a fear of mentally-unstable people despite the vast majority being harmless.

If the attacker is Muslim and he just wanted to cause chaos then at least the terror-link is justified, but generally anyone capable of hurting people like that are bad, evil & dangerous first and mentally-ill/terrorist second: including the likes of Jo Cox's, Lee Rigby's and (going back a bit) Stephen Lawrence's killers.

Anyone capable of such pure evil don't really have a motivation worth investigating: lock 'em up forever and sod the rest.

Bollocks.

According to Twitter yesterday, some bloke was stabbed in Middlesbrough. That warranted one post by sky news and nothing more. It happens everywhere. The media love a good story and will wring it for all its worth. Chances are its not terrorism related, just a mentally ill bloke in a very tragic incident.

PLEASE don't let this change your plans.
lets be fair though the likelihood of a terrorism incident in middlesbrough is going to be quite low compared to London . London is a major terrorist target . Of course there will be more alarm and worry about an incident in the capital

Nice.
A town outside Rouen.

Both terrorists attacks.

I notice 'Terrorism cannot be ruled out' is the favoured media and Police soundbite when an incident happens these days, it's scaremongering used to whip us into a frenzy no doubt so they can push there own agendas.

Always make sure you can get the word 'terrorism' into your article where possible, even when you have zero evidence. Got to keep the public on their toes.
It also leads to events like this
