the Leicester fan I met on hols last year I was on about Wigans main rivalry being with the Rugby team and how they absolutely despise each other with many a kick off between the 2 over the years & how hardly anyone at all goes to watch both.
He said there's no love lost between LCFC & the Tigers but said it was more of a political/class divide with the Rugby lot being stuck up middle class Tory tawts. Said it didn't get like in Wigan with blows traded, more they just ignored each others existence.

any of the visitors shed any light on this ?

I seem to recall that your lot didn't mind using the rugby ground to launch an ambush back in the day like, and Nelson Mandela Park as well.

Had a season ticket for the last
8 seasons all except this one (how's your luck). Moved to live in Norfolk so didn't think I'd be able to get to many games as i work most weekends. And getting a home ticket is now impossible due to the day trippers

kop-ite behaviour?

Thanks to one of your very kind posters I've got a ticket for Saturdays game, in the away end. Really grateful that I'll be able to witness my
beloved team lift their first major trophy.

Should I make it known around me that I'm a Leicester fan or should I just keep schtum. Obviously I wouldn't celebrate a goal or anything like that.

As for the game i think you could be in for a great day. When we won the championship with a couple of games to spare we lost our last home game 4-1 to Brighton with the players clearly out of their trees lol

Many of you making the trip to the KP?

Just enjoy the day and don't worry about anyone knowing you're a Leicester fan, there will be loads of you in there. I'm taking a mate of mine who's a RS and I'll definitely be letting everyone know who he supports......

Hi guys, pleading and begging anyone who knows anyone willing to part ways with 2 tickets for this game. Will pay at least the face value and make a donation to any charity of choosing, plus I will buy you a big crate of beer or something else on your wish list. I'm a lifelong Leicester fan and former season ticket holder from back in the filbert street days, been attending on and off since then due to various commitments. Would love to see this but I'm not a very rich man so can only afford so much!

There is a ticket thread. https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/...s-face-value-only.51495/page-389#post-4434410

Please use it and tell all the LCFC fans to stop treating this forum as a big ticket exchange.

Other than that, welcome.

?

It was a genuine question.

You should know by now that it is taboo to mention the fact, well known to everyone, that there will have been at that match, like at every match, a few fans without tickets who will have grabbed the opportunity, when the police opened the gate, to bunk in. I have heard our own fans boasting of how they got in to Wembley in the 1980s without paying. However, it is now official that neither these fans, nor the few fans who had had a few bevvies, were RESPONSIBLE, and I think in view of the shameless attempted cover-up by the police and others in authority or with power, that we can accept that. If this means an end to the disgusting chanting of the M-word at next year's derby, I for one will be pleased.
