Import taxes?

I'm buying something from the far east, abit of stock to start up my ebay business im trying to do.

Anyway ive been reading on these import taxes, how much would it be for it to come from China to England, anyone have any knowledge on this?

no idea. ebay are currently having a set of rule reestablishments regarding private buyer and seller and business buyer and seller.

what stock are you getting from over there? and is it legal to sell here? (i mention that because they were painting toys with lead paint recently and there were problems for a few multinational businesses)

It's nothing like that suits i can assure you.

It's top quality stuff and i recently accquired the link for it all, it's gonna be like ugg's which you can get for cheap and they are retailing here for 149 notes.

Yeh i do take alot of notice of these changing ebay rules they are doing alot of atm, knobheads.

Might be worth paying a visit to the local small business advice centre, Cal. Over here you get free professional consultations as part of a "new business" set-up and I remember the UK ones were pretty handy as well.

There's heaps of info out there for Europe and worldwide trade, but if you don't do it right, the taxman (whichever - import, VAT, income) is going to have you in the end. Best money I pay out every year is my tax advisor.
