Not done much for a while bar a few pens. The goal against Spurs gets him a pass until the end of the season though.

He is not a 10...not sure where he was playing in france, but he is not a 10. Has to play on the left wing. He is a decent signing that struggles with confidence at the moment, but it will come back.

Shocking performance. Not sure what the problem was but he was terrible.

I rate him. I really do. But all the razzle dazzle without finish is basically Doucoure. I want Illy to be successful with us. I also don’t want to look back and realise I was looking through rose-colored glasses and see he was just an above average player on a below average club.

Couple of things happening here. He's overrated because we've been starved of any talent in our team for so long. The other thing is the lack of support he gets from players around - particularly the full backs. We are so easy to play against because of how bad around half our team is on the ball.

You have to ask yourself what he was asked to do today.
I suspect the was disciplined and did as he was told.
Our manager will not tell 10 players to do what’s required to allow 1 player to be a maverick.

He’s a talented player, but most on here have been hugely overrating him. Hes better than he was today - nowhere near elite though.

Been out of form since he came back.

He always looks like he's about to lose control of the ball to me. The kid at school that's difficult to tackle but not good enough to play on the team. It's his lack of control that makes him exciting to watch I suppose.

Even on the wing he dosent cross a ball well enough. Lots of dribbles, lots of hard work tracking back but very little in the way of assist.

He’s a “good” player in an average team.

Isn’t involved enough though and holds onto the ball too long at times
