Not enough time to work out that the tax on that would be more than 10% - I used to be a contractor outside of IR35 regs - if only it was 10% in the UK.You dont seem to have put much thought into it.

Having said that I would risk not working for 120k a year. Not enough time to work out that the tax on that would be more than 10% - I used to be a contractor outside of IR35 regs - if only it was 10% in the UK.
One of the custodians in the school my mother worked at won about that much in the lottery. Nice fella—he kept working because he liked his co-workers, set up his kids with houses, and would regularly pay for breakfasts for the admin staff and teachers
If you won £3 million pounds what would be your first purchase ? House, car, holiday or brasses even.. what would you buy first ?
Been thinking more about this …. I’d stick half in a high interest account and then I’d just go and do what I want…. Travel different places, eat different foods and learn about different cultures. I have no interest in 5 star hotels or fancy restaurants… never ever felt the need to lash 500 quid on squid ink on chips .. so it’s be cheap and cheerful around the world![]()
