If you had the choice, would you rather win £500k on the lottery, or Everton win the league 2016/17?

With £500k? Good luck with that.

I'd be tempted by something in the region of £4m in this hypothetical, as I could then do great things for my family etc. - £500k doesn't even get me thinking about it.
So if somebody offered you 3m or Everton to win the league you wouldn't blink? Right... lol

If I took the £500k, would it mean that Everton would not win the league, or would they still have a chance it just wouldn't be guaranteed?

Why am I even asking - give me the £500k!

For the sake of my lad (5 years old) I would genuinely pick the league

He has just started a football group on a Tuesday night with approx. 20 others kids. He proudly wears his Everton short without fail and sadly is the only blue there against a sea of Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool shirts. He even has a standing joke with one of the tutors there who always says "Ah Sullivan, you still wearing that rubbish shirt?" when we walk into the hall and Sulley just laughs it off but I always remind him that he is wearing the best shirt in the world

Driving him back from football and a little voice from the back pipes up with "What we got?" and we both then break into a full rendition of Ross's song and we then have to sing it as fast as we can the 2nd time round

Every single day after school when I pick him up, the first thing Sulley asks is "Has Lukaku left yet?" and his party trick now when we are out with friends I ask him "What will we do with the Lukaku money Sulley?" and he replies "We will buy 2 new players Dad"

£500k or give my lad bragging rights and to see his little chest puffed out as he walks into that sports hall on a Tuesday evening?

Easy answer.......

That's what I mean by some things being priceless.

You couldn't buy this.

Nice sentiment but for the sake of my 4 year old and 10 month old lads it would be the money, I never see Romelu getting worried for me when it gets closer to rent day

I'd choose to win the league then put a Massive Bet on knowing that this was going to happen.

I see @Mikey_Fitzgerald's Mum is ahead of me at the bookies!
