This thread is nuts. How about picking just 6 players from premier clubs, all of who are, imo, obtainable at thr right price, and would compliment and fill the holes in our already promising but somewhat threadbare swuad.

Stoke. Jack Butland
Hull. Andy Robertson
Southampton. Virgil Van Dyke
Arsenal. Alex Oxlade Chamberlain
Chelsea. Lewis Baker
Arsenal. Danny Welbeck.

That squad would challenge top 4 assuming we keep our existing players.

---------------------------Mandanda-----------------------------

Cresswell----------Alderweireld------Van Dijk-----------Friend

---------------------------Pogba---------------------------------

Mane---------------------------------------------------Hazard

----------------Sanchez------------Aguero----------------------

That side would get battered - The fullbacks would be absolutely hammered with no protection and the midfields getting overran.

Mainly because you've only got ten players....

The old 0-2-8 formation for me.

Ok I'll keep it to realistic and targets we need:

Burnley:Heaton
Sunderland: Pickford
Soton:VVD
Liverpool: Sturridge
Man U: Shaw Mourinho don't seem to fancy him. Long term solution for Baines.

If we added 4 of them and supplemented them with our young upcoming players I think we could push on. Probably looking at £120 million for the lot mind.
