If we sell Baines/Fellaini, what replacements!

Wouldnt you have Donovan play the No. 10 role?. Thing is, i like Donovan but we need to be looking at younger players. I dont think Baines will leave and the clubs that were interested in him and wanting a LB will of turned there attentions to Shaw IMO as he's younger and will no doubt be cheaper and he's top talent!.

I think we may let Felli go this summer and tbh i think we could do with the cash more to try and really freshen the team up with a few players!. Felli for me is a player i think we can do without. When on form he's a monster but he's never a consistant performer for me, doesnt have enough brilliant games.

But i'd sell Heitinga, possibly Gueye unless miraculously he comes back from France a more improved player?!. But if we could get £25m or a bit more for Felli, couple of mill for Heitinga and end up with close to £30m in the kitty from player sales alone, then the new TV money can got towards wages and debts and then Moyesy or whoever is in charge can use the £25m - £30m kitty on rebuilding the squad and making it younger and fresher!.

I know Lescott is 30 but i'd definitely have him back, and at the reported £4m he could be available at in the summer. Him & Jags are just too good together to not be interested in pairing them 2 up again, and we would be more solid at the back!. I'd also go back in for Fer as he's quality. He's definitely the kind of player we need in CM!. He's powerfull, a stroing runner that never stops, he can run with the ball, he can pass and he's got a goal in him, he's a proper box to box midfielder and would compliment Gibbo very well IMO. I think we'd get him for around £8m in the summer.

Then i'd look at maybe someone like Sinclair of Man City as a squad player capable of coming in and doing a job on either flank if we get injuries or we feel the need to rest the likes of Pienaar and/or Mirallas?!. And maybe Honda on cheap to play in behind the striker?!. Think you could get him for £3m-£4m, maybe slightly less?. He'd be a great replacement for Felli, and he's quality!.

So if you go by the top value, you could get Lescott for about £6m (dont for 1 second believe he'll be available for as little as £4m), £8m on Fer, Possibly £5m on Sinclair & £4m on Honda which adds upto £23m, so even if we only sold Felli, we could sign all them with the proceeds i reckon!. That would also give us £2m to get a couple of players in on loan off of the continent or from the top four clubs (Lukaku, Guidetti, Welbeck IF United sign Lewandowski?)?.

It all sounds a bit too Footy manager but im going by prices we nearly signed players for, values in the press and what i think players will be worth with a year left on there deals. To my mind i think there realistic and viable for us IF we sell Felli for £25m or more?!.

Tbf mate I wouldn't tie Donovan down to a particular role. Would be more looking at him as a squad player (a very good one) he's 31 now so wouldn't be our future that's for sure but we need more quality players who can come into the side without weekening the side too much. Or coming on from the bench to change a game. From the No.10 role or from the wings he would still be an excellent addition.

Ideally if fellaini is going I think we need a marque signing to play the No.10 role.

Who's actually going to buy Fellaini though? I'm a fan of his but one of the top clubs is not going to employ him in the position we've played him this season, as a target man. I've seen Chelsea mentioned, but they don't even have a manager at this stage. Doesn't strike me as a Wenger-type signing either.

Id go Singurdsson at Spurs and maybe look at Bertrand being involved if Mofro did Chelsea, then there is Fer as well and we will need a different pressence in midfield.

Would be more then gutted - but wouldnt be surprised if many players leave if Moyes goes.

I'd be gutted if Baines leaves, hope he won't.

We could sign a large range of players to replace Fellaini, we'd just have to change tactics.

We could get a midfielder or a striker.

Baines will be made available purely because hes has his career with us and is 28

Fellaini will attarct bids of £25M im sure, and Im cobnvinced Arsenal will go hard after him. City also may be interested as they are meant to be looking at Yaya Toure replacement who looks finished after 2 ACON in 3 years.
