If this Times article is correct I could nearly cry with happiness

well if that was true...firstly loan on Love would be amazing, plus M'Bia and smith that would come to about £10 million in total, leaving the rest of the transfer budget to spend on Moutinho or other. so....

Love is great, M'Bia is great and Smith is a great bench player

Stephane Mbia- 6 million
Joao Moutinho: 16-20 million
Alan Smith- 3 million
Vagner Love- Loan

I'd be very happy with that, hopefully it happens.

"with Everton hoping to wrap up a deal in the next 48 hours, provided that there are no problems regarding the player’s application for a work permit."

that ever present 48hour statement - pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease be true(y)(y)(y)(y)

Id be upset if we signed Love actually...theres so many choices of songs for him which is great - but i just know the Kippers will start one with Torres in it. Suggestions: All you need is love, Love hurts, The power of Love etc...:) (ps: id be delighted with signing Vagner Love)

Some of the songs would be great.

Was the article writen by Kenwright by any chance?? I like the line 'Everton's spending could reach nearly 40 million if they sign Moutihno for 16million'. Ok 16mill plus Alan Smith (2 million), M'bia (6 million), Love (loan) takes us to 24 million. Just because Love is valued at 13 million they add that onto the rest, to get close to the 40 million. If we do try to sign him at the end of the loan that will come out of next summers transfer kitty. The writer must by chums with Billy!!!

It's not happening.

Next link.

I'm surprised it took this many posts for someone to ruin the fun. Damn pesimists! Some would call them realists. I don't care I'm just gonna trust that article and hope that when I next get on the net on thursday it will all be sorted. We can all dream.

Also love could bring back the Elton John song from a few years ago that was on Sky "Are you ready for Love?". Well? Are you?? (y)

I honestly don't think it's true mate, it's too good to believe.

Newcastle's Smith, who was booed by his own fans on Saturday, will join Love at Goodison Park but the spending won't stop there, and Everton are hopeful they will add Real Zaragoza striker Diego Milito, Rennes midfielder Stephane M'Bia and Joao Moutinho of Sporting Lisbon to their squad before the window closes.

What a sexy paragraph

Something in that though is missing.

We don't need 3 strikers, unless Moyes is loaning Anichebe out to Preston.

I'm guessing Smith would be primarily used as a midfielder?

I highly doubt Moutinho will join though.

He's the one i want big time.
