Just wondering guys, would we ever as fans take Wayne Rooney back? i know it would never happen but if he was to return, would he be welcome?

i would welcome him back with a double vodka bovril to the face. (my favourite winter tipple at the match)

i have always wondered what it would be like if the rat returned but i think the minute he kissed the manure badge in front of the Toffees that stopped him ever being welcomed back.

You know i do think he'll look to come back maybe when he's in his mid 30s and looking for his last big payday,i only hope whoevers in charge then has the guts to say no to him and his parasite agents.

I totally agree with Gary, I always thought he would come back some day, but as soon as he celebrated his goal at GP and then kissed the badge (n). I personally wouldn't want to see him don the blue shirt again. It sickened me. I understood why he left and was expecting it, not as soon as it happened, but how can he call himself a evertonian (I've heard he still does) after that celebration

Not that I like Rooney anymore, but to be fair he kissed that badge knowing how much it would wind up some of the blues that were calling for his blood every time he played against us. I dont know how much of a utd fan he is now or how little an everton fan he is, but one thing is for sure, he's at utd for money and trophies, so who gives a crap what badge he kisses.

And to answer the original question; I honestly dont know, I hate what he did and how him and his people went about it, but at the end of the day, he will go down as one of the greatest footballers of all time, and its hard to say no to that.

I never want him to have the honour of wearing our shirt ever again, simple as that.

What if we were about to be relegated and rooney wanted to come back to help us avoid relegation? (theoretically speaking of course:))

Id welcome him back but make him go through an initiation ceromony where Yakubu gets to have his 'wicked way' with him. After that hopefully he would never be able to play again (y)

Theres a first post for ya :D

would you take your wife back if she slept with your best mate/boss/random bloke from the boozer?

some men would, some men wouldnt.

I hope he wants to come back someday, but when that someday arrives we are in a place where we aren' t so reliant on his obvious talents as we were whilst he was here. We can then stick two fingers up to his wishes.

(The other side of the coin being we are desperate for his obvious talents and bend over like the fella who takes his cheating wife back)

oohh yeah Tunnel of death for wayne

in all fairness it would be in his best interest to play for us again to ever be accepted back in teh city again

Id have him back only so he can parade his missus around again. Shes fit, and im not and never will be ashamed to admit it. Id sing it from the rooftops with a big smile on my face :P
