IF Rooney was to Return

Ghost, you surely must be trying to be controversial with that post.

Are you a conspiracy theorist?

I'm not being controversial. I just think he left for two reasons. One to further his career, which nobody can deny anyone - regardless of anything. And he did so to get the club out of the financial [Poor language removed], which is what he did.

No way mate, he didnt give a [Poor language removed] about sorting us out financially.

He blamed Moyes in his autobiography, that gives you an indication of the character of the lad.

Come on, that says nothing about the character of the lad. There is no way he can write a book.

How do you know he wasn't going to lend us a hand financially? We don't know either way and we always assume we know.

Perhaps its best to remain dumb and not jump to conclusions, as us Evertonians seem to do quite often.

No it wasn't you. Someone else who I can't remember was adamant that it was the player who decided and the club. I said the club has final say on whether they sell a player. So I was just seeing if I would get the same reaction with Fergie.

I know why he went, it was Johnson being a [Poor language removed] house.

It was me!!!

But i agree tonight. Rooney was being advised. Let's not forget all the trouble with his old agent. Apparently it got a bit tasty. As someone else said he is a multimillion pound business now. People will say and do anything to make their money from him.

I honestly didn't remember who it was. But back to Rooney, he has been advised probably by his parents as well as his agent what move to take. He never turned around and told the club to [Poor language removed] off, he never slagged the team off. He came back and got abused, so he has obviously reacted. But there is no way he doesn't still care about Everton.
