19. Newcastle £14m
20. Sheffield Wed £13m
21. Norwich £10m
22. Charlton £8m

just think, if we spent even slightly more than we have im sure we could have been in the top 4!

although look at Liverpool.. 3rd biggest spenders yet cant even finish better than 7th haha

So I read.

It could be pie in the sky.

interesting! but you have a point. if it does end then, clearly we will end up accepting less as his contract is due to run out, and I wouldn't be surprised if your right! Can't see us keeping him and losing him for nothing

I don't think theyre going to miss a one season ticket holder walking away are they

I said part of the problem.

1 season ticket holder won't make much difference, but a couple of thousand, over 5 years will make a difference.

they did however get a few of our figures wrong the most obvious was the James Vaughan transfer where it says we got rid on a free. But we actually got £2.5m for him...

...bringing our net spend down to £6m and if Ince goes to Cardiff, they will have spent more too.

just upsets me that that's all we have spent. what are we doing?

so close to top 4, the slightest investment and we probably would have got there. but no.. dithering along

It,s been going on for years fella. Annoys me that the like of radio City and the Echo have done nothing to bring this to the attention of the fan base. Then we have had well placed club friends who have offered all types of excuses through social media platforms and media to muddy the waters.

We need a few hundred million for a stadium and another couple of hundred million to build up the squad so that we can compete with those at the top of the table.

£500,000,000 ought to do it.

The investment we need isn't slight.

I use the net spend argument over Liverpool fans. they have spent 3rd most yet can't even break the top six. Atleast all the other top spenders are nearer the top of the league

But then you just feel embarrassed when clubs like Hull City have spent more than us. Everton have been in the top league longer than any other team, yet we can't compete financially with sides who were in league one a few years ago (Southampton etc)

No mate we don,t...we need an owner who can come to the table with his own money or a credit line that can stick 20-30M into the club each season. The council would work with us on a new ground but they wont touch this lot who are looking for a free ride and a bump up on there shares before they cash out.
