I agree with him, why should he get fined for playing a different team to that which played us? They very nearly came away with a point from Villa Park, it's hardly a bad result is it. What is the difference between say Arsenal or United playing a weaker than average team, and the likes of Wolves or Blackpool doing the same? Can you imagine Wenger's reaction if he got fined for playing some of his youngsters against the lesser teams...

yeah, I agree. It wasn't exactly aston villa destroying them up and down the pitch.

If I was Mick McCarthy, I'd be asking for that 25k back too.....totally agree with them both.. Who is to say what Blackpool's first XI should be, only Holloway!!

Houllier said he was scared by the fact he had a team of players with nothing to lose playing against him!!

The FA/PL are blerts implement a 25 man squad system and get all huffy when teams use them, paying these lads thousands a week cant have them sitting on their backsides all season. Blackpool played very well last night.

He will resign though hes mental that lad - excellent stuff.

Was about to say I'm sure I've heard this before?

Blackpool are a joke of a club at the moment.

I heard that he said that both Blackpool and Birmingham had approached him but due to the issues with no owner at Birmingham he went to the Tangerines.
Perhaps the ownership thing has been sorted and they've gone back in for him.
