Wow. Seems like no time at all since it was announced he was ill. Wrote many good books, the Crow Road is better than good and the Wasp Factory is a truly amazing book. Leaves a fine legacy, a shame he couldn't add more to it. It seems too young to go; his stoicism was remarkable.
