I wonder if the ToffeeWeb will congratulate moyes and his squad with a positive goal difference at the end of this season?

after the comotion and criticism they dished out last season i wonder if they will be gracious enough to speak up so vociferously in praise this time round.

im not holding my breath.

What a difference A.J.s signing has made also credit has to go i to Arteta to with his lot in the goal scoring stakes, praticualrly with tim out for most of the season. I think A.J. will be brilliant if we make europe next season i think if he doesnt score a hatfull hel win alot of penalties with the refs on the contitnent!

im concerned for AJ,

38 league games
league cup
fa cup
uefa cup
possible international duty

its a lot of games and it is exacerbated by him being played as the lone striker- he'll be goosed by christmas if he doesnt pick up an injury.

I can't see it. It's interesting to note that they've moved on to Kenright/Wyness now that the team are doing ok.

Personally I see no problem in expecting the best in all areas of the club we love, but you have to give credit where it's due.

Ive said this in another thread but i can see the sense in keeping Beatie signing Nugent, and loaning Vic out before christmas get him back after, then loan vaghan out after! I know Beatie's crap Blah Blah and to be honest im at the stage were im not bothered if he stays of goes. But i like the sound of having three engalnd capped centre forwards and two up and coming centre forward alternating on loan.

Result: Four forwards all season

And

Good protection against Injury and fatiuqe.(y)

I guess it depends how much of an impact this kid from Swindon makes. He's already played a few games for them so I don't think it's too unrealistic to expect him to play a part for the first team next season, if only in the Carling Cup.

We also have the nice dilemma of where to fit Cahill into the side, so could easily play him in a 5 man midfield. So if we keep Beattie or swap him for Nugent I think up attack is sorted for next season. We need width though, either from full back or wide midfield to stretch play and create space in the middle.

You know ive been calling for width for a long time Bruce defo priority in my book. I know its not really realistic but it would be nice for once to think we didnt have to rob peter to pay paul. Anyhow back down to earth BUMP:P

that daniel alves of seville fame is rather quality, wayne bridge could come in and do a decent job as well.

it appears arteta is nailed on right mid unfortunatley, so we just need that left footer everyside apart from

man ure - giggs
blackburn - gamst pedersen
boro - downing
west ham - etherington ???
toon - duff

chelsea do what we have tried and play right footers on the left side - cole and robben

anyone know of any foreign talent? and champ manager pros that have the game.dat info on left footers throughout the world?

I wouldn't mind Moyes trying for Hoyte from Arsenal as he looks decent in attack. If Valente could stay fit on the left we'd then have two full backs that could get forward and we'd inevitably start playing like Brazil ;)

Ive been impressed with Aidan McGeadt and Stephan Hunt from the Irish set up Hunts developing a cult/keano following!

Cant beleive newcastle got duff for 5mill but it was nailed on that they wouldnt sell him to a team from the top four. Liverpool offered 9 mill apparently and they Knocked it back so his family say anyhow they live close by here in dublin.

That said id be happy with

Benyoun
Etherington
Koumas

Id like to see more of:

Kightley (Wolves)
Commons (Forest)
