For me its all about getting as good a striker in as we can afford, and if that takes all the money we raise from outgoings than so be it.

There will always be free transfers out there we can get if we move quick enough, that can fill the squad up, but if we go into next season without a recognised goal getter it doesnt matter how many fast, tricky wingers we buy it,ll be the same scenario.

Think of the likes of villa away, wigan home, even yesterday where we had 20+ shots but not enough quality in front of goal to make them count.

Only thing i'd say on N'Zogbia is that a lot of teams will be looking at him and a lot of teams seem to think 5-8m will get him but with I'd say Blues, Villa [i hope], yourselves, Newcastle and Sunderland atleast all being interested I'd say itd be more around £10m - but depends on what the boards of those teams do. Would think the 2 northern teams will definitely go in for him and I'm hoping we do - but we need to sort our defence first and unfortunately can only see us signing our new winger on a free in order to spend all our proper money on a new defence this summer.
